I regularly read about sustainable topics and this blog is intended to bring those topics to you, along with some explanation of the engineering concepts. I am interested in the way things could be if everyone was dedicated to energy efficiency and making use of advances in the field–if first cost wasn’t the most important factor in whether to choose a technology.
Maria Ramos is a registered professional engineer in the State of Ohio, and she has over twenty years of experience in energy related engineering. She grew up in Cincinnati, attended McAuley High School and University of Cincinnati, graduating with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology. She is personally invested in saving clients as much energy as possible and making mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems reliable and self-operating. Ms. Ramos has personally designed diverse renewable energy systems, such as solar domestic hot water, refrigerant heat recovery, and solar PV.
